Whale Watching Cruise with a Marine Biologist

Highlights

• Educational and insightful journey into the ocean life surrounding South Africa
• Custom-designed boat for more comfort on the water
• Eco-friendly company, committed to marine research and conservation
• Visited by the National Geographic Committee for Research and Exploration
• Favoured by film crews such as Discovery, National Geographic and BBC

Why It's Amazing

On this two-hour long cruise, the southern right whales that mate in South African waters from June to December can be spotted up close, breaching, tail slapping and sky hopping. It’s also possible to see Bryde’s whales, humpback whales, common dolphins and humpback dolphins.

The tour takes passengers past the sixty thousand-strong Cape fur seal colony will be passed during this tour, down the famous Shark Alley, where great white sharks are likely to be seen, and to Dyer Island where the endangered African penguin can be viewed. The trip is led by a marine biologist who provides insight into the marine life and animals that live in South Africa’s waters and on its shores.
