Please note that the final 27km to Mount Camdeboo Reserve is a well-maintained gravel road, typical of access routes to remote game reserves. While most standard vehicles can manage the drive with care, vehicles with higher ground clearance are recommended.
We recommend travelling to Mount Camdeboo in a vehicle with higher ground clearance.
Low-clearance or high-performance vehicles are not advised. A 4x4 is not required under normal conditions.
