Afrika Tikkun is an NGO that aims to empower communities to develop new generations of productive citizens through the implementation of a holistic development model. The model is made up of five core areas that support children’s development needs:
Newmark is committed to supporting the community by allocating funds, received by generous donations from guests, to the Nutrition, Food Security and Support Services Programme. This programme focuses on enabling the functioning of community kitchens, vegetable gardens, weekend feeding, food parcels, emergency relief and the provision of lunch boxes.
Newmark invests in the future generations of South Africa children, believing that adequate nutrition grants children the opportunity to learn, grow and reach their full potential. It costs R 95 per month to ensure that one participant from the programme is provided with nutritional support for a month.
