SAPS Women’s Day Initiative at Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve
Posted on: 9 August 2019
In celebration of this year’s Women’s Day, the South African Police Force (SAPS) from Graaff-Reinet generously donated some of their time to Mount Camdeboo as part of their social responsibility program. They addressed the Reserves staff members with genuine care and compassion, speaking candidly about very real issues that affect all that live in the surrounding communities.
Their topics were focused around Woman’s Day, emphasising woman’s rights, as well as the challenges that not only women, but the community as a whole face on a daily basis. Topics such as, domestic violence, alcohol abuse and drug related crimes are often taboo topics, however, they were presented as subjects that shouldn’t be avoided but rather be brought to everyone’s attention as part of the solution.
Graaff-Reinet SAPS have an open-door policy, 24 hours a day for everyone and anyone seeking assistance.
Thank you to the Graaff-Reinet SAPS for taking the time to visit Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve.
