Newmark Hotels & Reserves Welcomes Thitaka River Lodge to Namibia’s Zambezi Region This October

Set along the Kwando River within Bwabwata National Park, the luxury tented lodge brings together considered design, immersive safari experiences and meaningful connections with the surrounding landscape and community.

Located within easy reach of both Victoria Falls and Livingstone, the journey to Thitaka River Lodge is as much a part of the experience as the stay itself. Guests can arrive via a scenic 280km drive or by private charter, touching down on the lodge’s airstrip before a short transfer to the property.

From Kasane, the route winds through Chobe National Park and across the Botswana-Namibia border, with wildlife sightings and open landscapes accompanying the three-hour journey. Alternatively, a one-hour transfer from Katima Mulilo provides a more direct route to the lodge.

Accommodation at Thitaka River Lodge has been designed to sit lightly within its surroundings while offering a refined and comfortable stay in the wild.
