Enjoy a taste of Africa’s natural environment with a picnic alongside the Komati River. This picnic includes a selection of eats, put together by the head chef, and a delectable MCC or bottle of wine.
Picnics can also be set up in the comfort of your private deck, overlooking the river below.
If you choose to have your picnic on the banks of the Komati River outside of the fenced in camp, you will need to have a guide near you at all times, for safety purposes. The guide will drive you to the selected spot and be on guard until the picnic is over.
Time
Picnics can be booked from 10:30am, after the morning game drive and breakfast, throughout the afternoon, ending at 3pm, in time for the evenings game drive. Times are subject to change based on the season. Picnics must be arranged in advance and are weather-dependent.
