What to expect
The absolute vastness and clarity is truly incredible, while being surrounded by the stillness of the bush and its unique night sounds. Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve offers some of the best stargazing opportunities in South Africa.
Guests will take a special late-night drive up the mountain to a clearing where they can stargaze and learn about the patterns and how to navigate using the stars. Guests also have the chance of spotting lesser seen, nocturnal creatures such as the aardvark, genet, aardwolf, caracal and bat-eared fox.
Time
This experience is weather-dependent and as it takes place after dinner, between 21:00 and 22:00.
Booking
It is advisable to book via reception during your stay. This experience is open to guests with a minimum two-night stay and is offered at R550 per person, with a maximum of six in a group.
