What to expect
Nkomazi is a birder's paradise. Expect to take in the beauty of towering mountains, broad river valleys and impressive grasslands when you visit the malaria-free Nkomazi Private Game Reserve. The reserve spans an impressive 15 000 hectares and is home to a diverse ecosystem that supports both Highveld and Lowveld game species and abundant birdlife.
Our reserve’s birding safaris give you a special opportunity to spot these diverse creatures and glean insights from our expert birding guides.
Time
The birding safaris are an add-on experience and can be tailor-made to guests' needs, at an additional cost, taking place after 10:30 and ending by 15:00, before the evening game drive. These times are subject to change based on the season.
