Executive Chef: Malika van Reenen
Born and raised in Cape Town, Chef Malika van Reenen brings nearly three decades of experience to her role as Executive Chef at Future Found Sanctuary. Her culinary career spans senior positions at celebrated properties including the Cape Grace Hotel and private lodges across Zimbabwe, Kenya, and Limpopo. Drawing inspiration from her Cape Malay heritage, global travels, and a deep respect for seasonal produce, Malika’s approach blends traditional techniques with vibrant, layered flavours. At Future Found Sanctuary, she curates menus that change daily based on the freshest ingredients available from the gardens and surrounding landscape, offering personal, seasonal dining experiences rooted in authenticity and connection.
